Susan Zimet founded 2020: Project Women, a nonprofit created to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution. She is also a member of the New York State Suffrage Centennial Commission. The first woman to be elected Town Supervisor of New Paltz, New York, she has also served in the Ulster County Legislator. She has taught at SUNY-New Paltz, held the position of Vice President at Grey Advertising in New York, and currently works in the anti-hunger field.
